La poesía es considerada como el arte de la síntesis, el autor logra expresar sus sentimientos, pensamientos y emociones.
Clases:
- Soneto: Nació en Italia por lo general, es un poema escrito en 14 versos, 2 cuartetos, 2 tercetos.
- Caligrama: Origen en Francia, son poemas cuyos versos se disponen dibujando imágenes.
- El haikú: Origen Japones se compone de 3 versos y tiene una métrica, no tiene titulo.
